My Fave Tech Gifts for the Holidays
There’s no denying it the world is DIGITAL. As such gift-giving has been upgraded and tech gifts are all the rage now. Not sure what to get? Is budget a concern? Below I list some of my fave tech gifts for the season from inexpensive to pricey. I’ve got something for every budget.
Have a friend or family member who hasn’t upgraded to a smart tv yet? The Google Chromecast is an amazing inexpensive gift that can solve that problem. It plugs right into the tv and allows the user to use and control a plethora of apps right on their tv using their smartphone as a remote control. It’s extremely easy to set up and use, so a great option for someone who isn’t the most tech savvy. This miniature version of tech goodness lets you turn a speaker the size of the palm of your hand into a virtual assistant. It syncs up with a number of smart devices including TV’s and your smartphone. It can tell you anything from the weather, to whats on the agenda for the day, as well as play your favourite tunes or Netflix series. This is one my most favourite tech gifts and is a great inexpensive alternative if you cant go all in on the larger version. This gift is IOS and Android friendly and is available in 3 colours; chalk, charcoal, and coral (exclusive colour). ***If you’re willing to spend a bit more there are larger more functional versions of the Google Home.

If you’re looking for a high-quality, mid-range price wireless headphones then Jaybird is the answer! They are sweat proof, noise cancelling, pretty great sound quality, and offer loads of customization in terms of fit. Their headphones have pretty great reviews as far as the fit and sound goes, especially from workout enthusiasts who require great sound. Retail price $150-$200 – for a little more if your budget allows, you can get completely wireless earbuds by Jaybird.
Fitbit Ionic SmartWatch/Fitness Tracker
Now, this gift is on the higher end of the price spectrum but definitely worth it. Fitbit has totally revamped its lineup with this bad boy.
